Chapter: The command to fight the people until they say "La ilaha illallah Muhammad Rasul-Allah", and establish Salat, and pay the Zakat, and believe in everything that the prophet (saws) brought. Whoever does that, his life and his wealth are protected except by its right, and his secrets are entrusted to Allah, the most high. Fighting those who withhold Zakat or other than that is one of the duties of Islam and the Imam should be concerned with the Laws of Islam
It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah said:
I have been commanded to fight against people so long as they do not declare that there is no god but Allah, and he who professed it was guaranteed the protection of his property and life on my behalf except for the right affairs rest with Allah. - Sahih:Muslim:21a (islam)
-Is it about all unbelievers, everywhere?
Chapter: (The Statement of Allah Jalla Jalalahu) "But if they repent [by rejecting Shirk (polytheism) and accept Islamic Monotheism] and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give Zakat then leave their way free."
Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform that, then they save their lives and property from me except for Islamic laws and then their reckoning (accounts) will be done by Allah." - Sahih:Al Bukhari:25 (islam)
-What if one doesn’t want to become Muslim, is it a declaration of war?
- Is it Dawah or is it fighting and killing until conversion or accepting the Dhimmi's status?
Chapter: Killing those who refuse to fulfil the duties enjoined by Allah, and considering them as apostates
Narrated Abu Huraira:
When the Prophet (ﷺ) died and Abu Bakr became his successor and some of the Arabs reverted to disbelief, `Umar said, "O Abu Bakr! How can you fight these people although Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, 'I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, 'and whoever said, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah', Allah will save his property and his life from me, unless (he does something for which he receives legal punishment) justly, and his account will be with Allah?' "Abu Bakr said, "By Allah! I will fight whoever differentiates between prayers and Zakat as Zakat is the right to be taken from property (according to Allah's Orders). By Allah! If they refused to pay me even a kid they used to pay to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), I would fight with them for withholding it." `Umar said, "By Allah: It was nothing, but I noticed that Allah opened Abu Bakr's chest towards the decision to fight, therefore I realized that his decision was right." - Sahih:Al Bukhari:6925 (islam)
-Is it ok to kill an unbeliever and to steal all his belonging, including his wife and children?
Chapter: The Prohibition of Bloodshed
Abu Hurairah narrated that :

It has been narrated on the authority of Abdullah b. 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah said:
I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah, that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, and they establish prayer, and pay Zakat and if they do it, their blood and property are guaranteed protection on my behalf except when justified by law, and their affairs rest with Allah. - Sahih:Muslim:22 (islam)

Chapter: The Virtues Of 'Ali Bin Abi Talib (RA)
Sahl b. Sa'd reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said on the Day of Khaibar:
I would certainly give this standard to a person at whose hand Allah would grant victory and who loves Allah and His Messenger and Allah and His Messenger love him also. The people spent the night thinking as to whom it would be given. When it was morning the people hastened to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) all of them hoping that that would be given to him. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Where is 'Ali b. Abu Talib? They said: Allah's Messenger, his eyes are sore. He then sent for him and he was brought and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) applied saliva to his eyes and invoked blessings and he was all right, as if he had no ailment at all, and conferred upon him the standard. 'Ali said: Allah's Messenger, I will fight them until they are like us. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Advance cautiously until you reach their open places, thereafter invite them to Islam and inform them what is obligatory for them from the rights of Allah, for, by Allah, if Allah guides aright even one person through you that is better for you than to possess the most valuable of the camels. - Sahih:Muslim:2406 (islam)

Narrated Abu Hurairah:
narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "I have been ordered to fight the people until they say La Ilaha Illallah", and if they say that, then their blood and wealth will be protected from me, except what it makes obligatory upon them, and their reckoning is up to Allah." - Sahih:Tirmidhi:2606 (islam)
-Do you need to fight if a Muslim does not want to pay the Zakat?
If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another people, and you will not harm Him at all. And Allah is over all things competent. - Quran:At-Tawbah 9:39 (islam)
They swear by Allah that they did not say [anything against the Prophet] while they had said the word of disbelief and disbelieved after their [pretense of] Islam and planned that which they were not to attain. And they were not resentful except [for the fact] that Allah and His Messenger had enriched them of His bounty. So if they repent, it is better for them; but if they turn away, Allah will punish them with a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And there will not be for them on earth any protector or helper. - Quran:At-Tawbah 9:74 (islam)
Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not. - Quran:Al-Baqarah 2:216 (islam)

Chapter: Ruler appointing leaders of expeditions and advising them of the etiquette of war, etc.
It has been reported from Sulaiman b. Buraida through his father that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) appointed anyone as leader of an army or detachment he would especially exhort him to fear Allah and to be good to the Muslims who were with him. He would say:
Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war, do not embezzle the spoils; do not break your pledge; and do not mutilate (the dead) bodies; do not kill the children. When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them. Then invite them to migrate from their lands to the land of the Muhajireen and inform them that, if they do so, they shall have all the privileges and obligations of the Muhajireen. If they refuse to migrate, tell them that they will have the status of Bedouin Muslims and will be subjected to the Commands of Allah like other Muslims, but they will not get any share from the spoils of war or Fai' except when they actually fight with the Muslims (against the disbelievers). If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them. When you lay siege to a fort and the besieged appeal to you for protection in the name of Allah and His Prophet, do not accord to them the guarantee of Allah and His Prophet, but accord to them your own guarantee and the guarantee of your companions for it is a lesser sin that the security given by you or your companions be disregarded than that the security granted in the name of Allah and His Prophet be violated. When you besiege a fort and the besieged want you to let them out in accordance with Allah's Command, do not let them come out in accordance with His Command, but do so at your (own) command, for you do not know whether or not you will be able to carry out Allah's behest with regard to them. - Sahih:Muslim:1731a (islam)
-What is the penalty if you do?
- Is it a great way to terrorise your enemy if you do (59:2)?
And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged. - Quran:Al-Anfal 8:60 (islam)
-Is Allah commanding to terrorize his enemies and everyone else by whatever means of war?

But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned. - Quran:As-Saffat 37:177 (islam)
-Is it about Khaibar?
O you who have believed, when you encounter a company [from the enemy forces], stand firm and remember Allah much that you may be successful. - Quran:Al-Anfal 8:45 (islam)
Chapter: How the Divine Revelation started being revealed to Allah's Messenger
Narrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab:
I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for." - Sahih:Al Bukhari:1 (islam)
-Can you kill a child willingly, but with a good intention like furthering Islam as a Religion for the World?
Chapter: The intention in taking oaths
Narrated `Umar bin Al-Khattab:
I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "The (reward of) deeds, depend upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for the sake of Allah and His Apostle, then his emigration will be considered to be for Allah and His Apostle, and whoever emigrated for the sake of worldly gain or for a woman to marry, then his emigration will be considered to be for what he emigrated for." - Sahih:Al Bukhari:6689 (islam)
-Does it mean only we will be judge on the intention?

- Is God Mistaken in this verse?
- In Sahih International, it says "So do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior" the meaning is not the same, why the Quran so unclear the translation cannot be trusted?
- What do the Tafsir says?
So if you, [O Muhammad], gain dominance over them in war, disperse by [means of] them those behind them that perhaps they will be reminded. - Quran:Al-Anfal 8:57 (islam)

Chapter: Fighting in the cause of Allah
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“There is no one who is wounded in the cause of Allah – and Allah knows best of who is wounded in His cause – but he will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wounds looking as they did on the day he was wounded; their color will be the color of blood but their smell will be the fragrance of musk.” - Sahih:Ibn Majah:2795 (islam)

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Nobody who dies and finds good from Allah (in the Hereafter) would wish to come back to this world even if he were given the whole world and whatever is in it, except the martyr who, on seeing the superiority of martyrdom, would like to come back to the world and get killed again (in Allah's Cause)." - Sahih:Al Bukhari:2795 (islam)
-Is there martyrdom in Islam, is it possible to be killed for Allah?
- What do you have in Paradise?
- Are you a martyr if you killed a blasphemer and be killed in the process?
Chapter: The virtue of Martyrdom in the cause of Allah
It has been narrated on the authority of Anas b. Malik (through a different chain of transmitters) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
Nobody who enters Paradise will (ever like to) return to this world even if he were offered everything on the surface of the earth (as an inducement) except the martyr who will desire to return to this world and be killed ten times for the sake of the great honour that has been bestowed upon him. - Sahih:Muslim:1877b (islam)
-Is it the mindset of Islamic fighter today?
And you did not kill them, but it was Allah who killed them. And you threw not, [O Muhammad], when you threw, but it was Allah who threw that He might test the believers with a good test. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing. - Quran:Al-Anfal 8:17 (islam)
-Is it because 9:14 where God uses believer's hands to punish the unbelievers?
- God Talks to Mohamed about people he killed, is it still a good model?
- Is it supposed to remove the guilt of the killing?
- What about the by standers, the children, the women, are they ok to kill, is it just because "they are from them" (Muslim 1745a)?
Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people - Quran:At-Tawbah 9:14 (islam)
-Does it mean that every time Allah curses someone in the Quran, the hands of believers have to punishes them?

-Does the Tafsir says "Jalalayn - That is, smite the extremities of their hands and feet, thus, when one of them went to strike an disbeliever's head, it would roll off before his sword reached it"?
- Is it a command for all the believers?
- Is it only for the 7th century, or even for today like HAMAS, ISIS seems to think?
- What does it mean 'throwing fear', is it terrify, terrorize?
- Is it Halal for a combatant to bring terror in the heart of disbelievers?
- Why everybody in the west live in the fear of saying a blasphemy, unintended or otherwise?
- Does 8:12 only for angels or is it for the combatants?
- Is it why some children (allegedly) had their fingers cut before their execution by Hamas combatant during the 10-7 Attack in Israel?
We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve for what they have associated with Allah of which He had not sent down [any] authority. And their refuge will be the Fire, and wretched is the residence of the wrongdoers. - Quran:Ali 'Imran 3:151 (islam)
It is He who expelled the ones who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think they would leave, and they thought that their fortresses would protect them from Allah; but [the decree of] Allah came upon them from where they had not expected, and He cast terror into their hearts [so] they destroyed their houses by their [own] hands and the hands of the believers. So take warning, O people of vision. - Quran:Al-Hashr 59:2 (islam)
-Does Allah condons casting horror into enemy hearts?
And He brought down those who supported them among the People of the Scripture from their fortresses and cast terror into their hearts [so that] a party you killed, and you took captive a party. - Quran:Al-Ahzab 33:26 (islam)

- Is God who brought down, or is it the believers?
Chapter: Burning the lands of the enemy
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet (ﷺ) burned the palm trees of Banu Nadir and cut them down. Concerning that, their poet said:

To burn Al-Buwairah in a Frightening manner.” - Sahih:Ibn Majah:2845 (islam)

Narrated Anas:
When the Prophet (ﷺ) arrived Medina he dismounted at `Awali-i-Medina amongst a tribe called Banu `Amr bin `Auf. He stayed there For fourteen nights. Then he sent for Bani An-Najjar and they came armed with their swords. As if I am looking (just now) as the Prophet (ﷺ) was sitting over his Rahila (Mount) with Abu Bakr riding behind him and all Banu An-Najjar around him till he dismounted at the courtyard of Abu Aiyub's house. The Prophet (ﷺ) loved to pray wherever the time for the prayer was due even at sheep-folds. Later on he ordered that a mosque should be built and sent for some people of Banu-An-Najjar and said, "O Banu An-Najjar! Suggest to me the price of this (walled) piece of land of yours." They replied, "No! By Allah! We do not demand its price except from Allah." Anas added: There were graves of pagans in it and some of it was unleveled and there were some date-palm trees in it. The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered that the graves of the pagans be dug out and the unleveled land be level led and the date-palm trees be cut down . (So all that was done). They aligned these cut date-palm trees towards the Qibla of the mosque (as a wall) and they also built two stone side-walls (of the mosque). His companions brought the stones while reciting some poetic verses. The Prophet (ﷺ) was with them and he kept on saying, "There is no goodness except that of the Hereafter, O Allah! So please forgive the Ansars and the emigrants. " - Sahih:Al Bukhari:428 (islam)
-After stilling a land, Mohamed dug out a pagan graveyard, what is this attitude?
And what Allah restored [of property] to His Messenger from them - you did not spur for it [in an expedition] any horses or camels, but Allah gives His messengers power over whom He wills, and Allah is over all things competent. - Quran:Al-Hashr 59:6 (islam)
-Is it linked to the episode on Banu Nadir, an agricultural tribe of Jews attacked by Mohamed, looted and banned to khaybar?
- Was the gain done without a real battle?
- Why Mohamed was so kin on attacking jews?
- Is it the reason why the hatred against Jews are still strong today, is Mohamed the best of model?
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon hlmg) said:
I have been given superiority over the other prophets in six respects: I have been given words which are concise but comprehensive in meaning; I have been helped by terror (in the hearts of enemies): spoils have been made lawful to me: the earth has been made for me clean and a place of worship; I have been sent to all mankind and the line of prophets is closed with me. - Sahih:Muslim:523a (islam)
-Does Allahand his messenger promote terrorism?
O you who have believed, what is [the matter] with you that, when you are told to go forth in the cause of Allah, you adhere heavily to the earth? Are you satisfied with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But what is the enjoyment of worldly life compared to the Hereafter except a [very] little. - Quran:At-Tawbah 9:38 (islam)
